A beach day starts with your bag – and that is exactly where MAHINA scores: the flat-woven cotton towel measures a generous 180 × 100 cm, yet folds so small that there is still room for sun cream, a water bottle and a book. With its geometric pattern and grey fringes, it is also a real eye-catcher on the lounger.

What a good beach towel needs to do

• Get rid of sand: The smooth, flat-woven surface doesn’t hold on to sand the way terry loops do – one good shake and you’re done.
• Dry quickly: After a swim, hang it over the lounger or parasol – by your next dip it is usually dry again.
• Weigh little: No heavy, wet towel on the way back from the beach.
• Offer enough space: 180 cm in length is enough to stretch out completely.

Care

Wash before first use. Wash at 30 °C, do not use fabric softener or bleach, and ideally dry in the air. Simply wash out salt water and sun cream at the end of your holiday.

Good to know

Isn’t a thin beach towel too little?
Flat-woven cotton absorbs moisture well, even though it is thinner than terry. In return it is much lighter and dries faster – exactly what counts on the beach.

Does it fit in hand luggage?
Yes, folded or rolled it needs very little space – ideal for flights with a small suitcase.
