What goes in your sauna bag?

The towel must be long enough for you to lie on it completely – feet included. In every sauna the rule is: no sweat on the wood.

A smaller towel for hair and face. Hamam towels are light and dry again quickly.

For breaks in the relaxation area and the way out into the fresh air. In many facilities a bathrobe is even mandatory.

Non-slip slides for the showers and the paths between the saunas.

Fresh clothes for the way home – and a bag for the wet things.

Drink plenty between sauna sessions. In an insulated bottle, the water stays cold for a long time.

Shower thoroughly before your first sauna session – with a mild shower gel.

For your scrub ritual around your sauna session. Follow the house rules of your sauna.

After your last session and cooling down, your skin will appreciate some care.

For wet hair after showering.

For drinks, snacks or the locker.

For rest breaks – no phone needed.

Fruit or nuts in between – do not go into the sauna on a full stomach.
