Hamam towel Ocean – our all-rounder for sauna, bath and travel

Ocean is the towel we sell most often over the counter – and there is a simple reason for that: it can do almost anything. 180 × 100 cm made from 100 % cotton, flat-woven, light and quick to dry. Colourful threads in the weave and coloured fringes give it its cheerful look.

In the sauna

At 180 cm long, you lie completely on the towel on the sauna bench. In the relaxation area you wrap yourself up in it, after the shower it dries you off – and by your next round it is usually already dry again on the lounger. At Meri Sauna we see every day how practical this is: two Ocean towels take up less room in your bag than a single terry towel.

At home and on the go

In the bathroom, Ocean replaces the large bath towel; at the gym, the hand towel; on your travels, the blanket on the train. Folded up, it fits into any backpack.

Black, green, light blue, yellow, turquoise and dark blue – so everyone in the household has their own towel.

Care

Wash before first use. Wash at 30 °C, do not use fabric softener and ideally air-dry. The cotton gets softer with every wash.

Frequently asked questions

Is a hamam towel allowed in the sauna?
Yes. The only important thing is that you lie completely on the towel – and the 180 cm length is enough for that.

Does such a thin towel absorb enough water?
Flat-woven cotton absorbs well but feels thinner than terry. The advantage: it dries much faster.
