Handmade with character

The Hamam Towel Manolia is traditionally woven on the Aegean coast of Turkey and finished with hand-knotted fringes. Every piece bears the signature of genuine handcraft – small irregularities in the weave underline its individual character and make every towel one of a kind.

Care instructions

So that you can enjoy your Manolia hamam towel for a long time, we recommend:

Machine wash at max. 30 °C

Air-drying recommended

do not bleach

do not iron

do not dry clean

Note: pure cotton can shrink by up to approx. 10 % in the first wash – this is completely normal for natural cotton and does not affect its function.

There is no corporation behind BeachAndSteam – just me.

Hi, I am Martin. As a family business, we have been running Meri Sauna at Lake Kulkwitz for over 18 years. So we know from daily experience what matters in good sauna and wellness products.

In 2024, this led to BeachAndSteam. Every hamam towel, every bathrobe and every care product in our shop is personally selected and checked by me – and only offered if it convinces us ourselves.

For me, it is not about offering as much as possible, but the right things – things that support a real time out, whether in the sauna, on the beach or at home. If you have a question or something is not right, you are not writing to a support team, but to me.
