Hamam towel MAHINA – our design, woven for the sauna

MAHINA is made exclusively for BeachAndSteam: classic stripes meet a geometric pattern, and grey fringes add the finishing touch. At 180 × 100 cm without fringes it is big enough to lie on completely on the sauna bench – and yet so light that it takes up hardly any room in your bag.

One towel for the whole sauna day

On the bench to lie on, in the relaxation area to wrap up in, after the shower to dry off: the flat-woven cotton dries quickly again between sessions. Many of our guests at Meri Sauna bring two MAHINA towels – one for the bench, one for afterwards.

Three colours with grey

  • Red-Grey – bold and warm
  • Sage-Grey – calm and natural
  • Pink-Grey – fresh and cheerful

All three feature the same pattern of stripes and diamonds with grey fringes.

At home and on holiday

In the bathroom, MAHINA replaces the large bath towel; on the sofa it becomes a light blanket. For your beach holiday, the design is also available as the Beach Towel MAHINA.

Wash before first use. Wash at 30 °C, do not use fabric softener or bleach, ideally air-dry.

Schönes Saunatuch.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal mit dem Tuch in der Sauna. Es sieht toll aus und hat eine perfekte Größe. Es verrutscht nicht und trocknet sehr schnell. Das Material fühlt sich sehr weich an und lässt sich angenehm tragen. Wir sind mehr als zufrieden.

There is no corporation behind BeachAndSteam – just me.

Hi, I am Martin. As a family business, we have been running Meri Sauna at Lake Kulkwitz for over 18 years. So we know from daily experience what matters in good sauna and wellness products.

In 2024, this led to BeachAndSteam. Every hamam towel, every bathrobe and every care product in our shop is personally selected and checked by me – and only offered if it convinces us ourselves.

For me, it is not about offering as much as possible, but the right things – things that support a real time out, whether in the sauna, on the beach or at home. If you have a question or something is not right, you are not writing to a support team, but to me.
